Even after getting the card, is it worth it? Given the reward rate is only 2% in India?
It is worth it for me as I have a lot of international expenses. It is 4% for international transactions with 1.75% fc mark up (0% in Singapore but you get 4% even there). Also it gives points for government transactions in India. Plus the milestones are great as you get 40000 points for 20lac yearly spend as well as fee waiver for 10 lac spend. Each point is worth 1₹, if you transfer to Bonvoy via ITC it is 15000 points for 10000 dbs points.

I use infinia for domestic transactions and vantage for international and government transactions (India). It is a great combination.

@robimahanta That makes total sense and I might be getting one soon as my spend are majority international. Do you know as who are the flight points transfer partners as I don't have access to DBS delight until I get the card.

Hi! As of now it is only Air India Maharaja Club, Air Asia, ITC and Adani One. All are 100 points = 80 miles/points. They are adding new partners slowly.

You can Also take a look at yes private. 2.5% for international expenses. Plus it is easier to get ltf than vantage.

Thanks @sidp. I'm an NRI with DBS treasures account. My RM said I should be able to get Vantage credit card without any FD. Not sure if that's feasible as few other banks I enquired said I need make FD to avail Credit card as NRI.
If DBS end up asking for FD, then probably wouldn't go ahead with it.

Yes most bank don't issue unsecured cc to nri. They also dont issue certain variants. My cluster head couldn't get infinnia/dcb for his nri brother who was easily satisfying all criteria. He had to settle with a secured rg cc. 😁
Yep will post an update as how it goes. Will be initiating in couple of months time mostly
