I recently opened an HDFC salary account (via branch) and have 2 salary credits yet, and I don't have any credit card from HDFC yet. I want to apply for DCB LTF under the alumni offer. What is the best way to apply for it?
I started getting preapproved card mails from hdfc and while checking for eligibility, my preapproved card is moneyback with 35k limit😂.
What is the CL I can expect from DCB if I get one?

You can apply offline through branch and ask for special pricing MID form from the sales manager. refer this link:

DCB - Anyone got DCB under Alumni Offer from Hyderabad?

I have tried a bunch of agents but no one had any idea reg. DCB Alumni Offer. Also I filled the form from here, but no response from HDFC. I don't have any existing relationship with HDFC. Can someone please share any HDFC agent number from Hyderabad who can help me in getting DCB ltf?

I got HDFC DCB last month under Alumni offer even without a HDFC bank account although I had a HDFC Regalia for 5 years or so. They dint issue it very easily. Had to exchange a lot of emails for a month or so before they finally issued.

Hi, did you get dual card (DCB in addition to existing regalia)or upgrade from regalia to DCB?

Wow. I am from NIT Surathkal (Karnataka). and HDFC had rejected my mail saying that I am not eligible under the Alumni Program. On top when I asked them the list of the institutions. They sent the same copy-paste mail. In addition, there was no reply from PriorityRedressal.CreditCards@hdfcbank.com.


This is the reply I had received (twice)

This is with reference to your e-mail dated July 12, 2023 with Subject line: DCB LTF Eligible Institutes.

On receipt of your e-mail, we have liaised with the concerned department for a detailed review and regret to inform you that your institute is not a part of the listed institution for the life time free diners black credit card.

Incase if you want to know the other eligible credit card for you, we request you to kindly apply for the credit card through online, post approval only you will be able to know the eligible card.

Can anyone guide me here?
(No prior HDFC relationship)

Just mailed them on customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com.

I came to know that there is a Diners Club Black LTF offer for Alumni of selected colleges.
I have done my Bachelor's of Technology (B.Tech, 20xx) from NIT Surathkal (https://nitk.ac.in)

I am attaching the graduation certificate as the proof.

Please confirm if I am eligible and how can I apply for the same."

They took good 2 weeks to reply and replied that sorry you are not eligible.

Yes they will ask for 3 month payslip, but if you have 1.75+ in the last payslip (for ex variable pay) there is a high chance they will go ahead with it..
so ensure the most recent month should be the one you recieve variable pay which will make it 1.75+

The list has the name as "NIT Karnataka", you wrote "NIT Surathkal". I think they don't know that both are same, and concluded that your Institute is not in the list. Worth trying again with "NIT Karnataka".
