Declined AU Bank IXIGO application due to unavailability. Need suggestions

Day1: I applied for AU bank IXIGO card from IXIGO website. Process was smooth and completed application and VKYC in about 5 min from phone itself.
Day2: AU bank asked for in person verification as well for some reason even after VKYC. Next day a guy visited my house and all good.
Day3: Next day was too busy in office and had to ignore few calls from unknown numbers marked as SPAM by android. By evening got a message that card has been declined with a reason "customer is not interested".

What can be done in this case. Bank should know there can be days when office could be on high alert and you are busy firefighting, that too after VKYC and in person verification.
Any suggestions/solutions are welcom.
 
Tried mailing them. Initially they agreed to review the application but got a mail back from them now that they have declined the application.
Reason stated:
We have examined your application, basis the following criteria (does not necessarily imply your adverse creditworthiness).
1. Eligibility criteria as per the Bank
2. Past borrowings of the applicant
3. Regulatory and statutory provisions governing the Bank
4. Inaccurate information/declaration by the applicant
5. KYC Norms
