Details required to receive a wire transfer ?

is here anybody who have good knowledge of wire transfer, like what all the details are required for a wire transfer ??
1)is there any limit of wire transfer
2)which bank is good for it

i guess swift codes of banks is required
not sure of any limit
dbs and iob seem to have good remmitance rates

To initiate a wire transfer, you need to provide the recipient's bank details, like their name, account number, and the SWIFT code of the recipient's bank.

The maximum limit for foreign remittance is USD 2,50,000 per year.

Instead of banks, I think you can check out online platforms that offer international money transfer services. They offer better rates and lower fees compared to traditional banks in my opinion.

i have done remitances via idfc
has given a better rate compared to icici and intermediaries such as flywire
