Devaluation of Indusind Pioneer Account - NMC charges from Jan 2026 plus other changes

Very brutal. It's time to close the relationship for sure or downgrade to Exclusive

I think next devaluation maybe Exclusive and Select, they already started charging NMC from many customers. They have reversed for now but may not reverse from 2026. Let's hope for the best.

I don't think they will reverse this decision to charge NMC in pioneer. Bank generally don't reverse such devaluations rapidly

What about those who have LTF Pioneer Heritage Metal and Pioneer account? If savings account is downgraded to Exclusive , will the card remain LTF or will be chargeable?

In my view, the most significant change is the revised NMC. The spend-based criteria for lounge access are restrictive, but since the threshold is just ₹3,000, it’s still fairly easy to achieve. Overall, the bank seems to be aligning its features with what other major banks are already doing. However, IndusInd will need to improve its service quality to justify these changes.


They could have at least added international lounge access when removing guest access. Previously, this account was undoubtedly one of the best value-for-money HNI accounts available, with minimal restrictions.

You need to spend 3K on individual DCs to unlock lounge access.

Massive devaluation in Pioneer account from 2026-

Guys my advice is stay away from this account now. Its absolute shit now.

The latest revisions to Pioneer account is making this whole HNI pioneer program even shittier. Extremely lame.
Basically whatever limited USP this had over other HNI programs, this will destroy it even further.

What an absolute shitshow by Indusind Bank. Any sane person will not avail this banking.
