DIDN'T RECEIVE REWARD FOR TAP N PAY TXN ON GOOGLE PAY

Hi all, so as we all know there's an offer running on Google Pay thats supposed to give 200 cashback on first ever Tap n Pay payment done via Google Pay of Rs 200 or more.

So, I did a transaction of 200 at a fuel station on 1st December in afternoon. This was my first tap n pay payment as well. I didn't receive any cashback nor was the transaction showing in the txn history. I thought it would take some time so I didn't bother much. But when I didn't receive anything even after 2 days, I raised a case with Google Pay. At first, they refused to even acknowledge the transaction, but then their support rep confirmed the txn and said to send txn details over mail, which I did.

Its been more than a week but the case still shows in progress and the customer support says they can't even give a timeline. What can I do here? Is the 200 gone ?

Was it the first tap using that particular GPay account?

I am seeing this Google Pay Tap and Pay offer in the app since months now, so I thought to give it a try and I added a new HSBC LIV+ Visa credit card in Google Pay and paid in Star Bazaar by Tap n Pay turning on NFC in my mobile. I made a transaction worth Rs400 and got successful transaction message on Google Pay as well as through HSBC as well. Although I had added 1-2 credit cards in Google Pay earlier but had never used this Tap n Pay feature. I have read the TnC properly and I fulfill all their criteria, I was supposed to get Rs200 Welcome Tap scratch card but didn't get it instead I got a normal scratch card where I got Rs6 cashback. I felt cheated, I tried to raise a complaint to Google Pay customer care through app, they raised a ticket but refused to give any timeline for resolution, they only took some transaction details screenshot and said team will reply when we have an update on the issue.
While tracking the ticket, I noticed I had raised some ticket on 2023 and its still open.

1. Do you guys have any experience with Google Pay customer care, do they respond quickly or take months or years before they provide resolution?
2. Have u tried availing Tap and Pay offer and got the cashback?

My first transaction was done when this offer was live but I didn't get any reward for Tap and pay, now I was getting notifications daily for this offer tried and didn't get anything

Man, that's weird. Guess I was just lucky.

It's odd that so many people haven't received the cashback. I've used six different accounts to take advantage of the offer, and I've gotten the 200 cashback scratch card instantly every time.

I used my Axis Ace card on four accounts & my HSBC Live+ on the other two.

Same happened with me. I got the cashback of 200 after raising ticket. It took around 2 days for the voucher to come after complaint.

I did tap and pay transaction via ace cc at more mega store and got the cb instantly worth 200. This offer is available on first ever tap and pay transaction done via gpay

Same happened with me. I got the cashback of 200 after raising ticket. It took around 2 days for the voucher to come after complaint.

Good , but many said even after complaining and waiting for months, they didn't get any response, I'll see what happens in my case

From the offer section, I specifically added my card for the very first time on gpay and did the very first tap and pay payment on gpay and I had got scratch card in two hours.
