I have never seen such a poor Onboarding experience for the credit card.
After online application someone called and says income proof not required your application is pre approved and next day someone asked for salary slip, I said I opted for c2c and she says c2c is non exist. If it's not there why they given an option during application stage.

After that it's been it's been a week and I asked what's the status they literally said that my application is non exist in their database. Even pno concluded that they couldn't find my application inspite of sharing the application number email given by them

I further escalated to rbi they responded back saying my application is rejected. I don't how all of a sudden they found my application. Of course I asked for a reason they again claim that it's internal criteria. Now I have wait for 30 days to escalate to rbi again.

There is no way to track your cc application online . If something goes wrong with cc application scb literally screw you

Better not open any relationship with SCB. They take 45-60 mins on call to resolve any issue.

Main bhi shift hone se pehle apply kar diya ki ek SC ka card toh ho. 3 din se phone bhi nhi aaya yaha toh. Lag rha hai kyu hi apply kiya.

Yes, indeed poor.
6 Months back similar thing happened with me and as soon I got two enquiries, the next day they sent an email stating it is declined before vKYC. I literally did vKYC after declined email, i thought it might be some issue. Escalated to PNO, Customer Head, nothing worked they said its declined and I just left it as well.

Few days back again they approached me that I am eligible, and nothing should be provided. I hesitated at first but then decided to apply and same thing happened, got two hard enquiries, next day rejection email along with VKYC Completed email which I didn't do. Also no one asked me for pay slip or anything neither my income CTC.

I again wrote an email to PNO expressing whatever anger left in me and also telling them about previous card application and RBI rule for stating reason for rejection. They read my email and gave me time frame to resolve it.

Within this timeframe, I got an email on my official mail ID to reply to them for confirming my designation at my company. I replied and then today I got sms and email that my card is now registered with them i.e, Approved.

Still no idea about limit or which card they provided, initially they told EaseMyTrip but I said I need platinum.

Update:

I got the card next day i.e, Sunday was approved on Saturday. I got the Platinum Rewards as asked and is also LTF. They gave a limit of 1.6L purely on CIBIL basis I guess as no income documents were taken. Although highest limit reported to CIBIL is 6.3L.

Not bad if its LTF and if you have average fuel expenses, this card gives 5x RP on fuel expenses without capping.

I'm experiencing same with HDFC for infinity card. Inspite of confirmation from PNO, they are not able to trace my application he/they are not ready to remove cibil inquiry. However, he proceed my application through offline channel (fresh application). Now, the whole fiasco is about 27days & still going

In my case , Axis was far better than Scb , i did Scb pno email and had not received any responses for weeks
