SCB Messed up after Update.

Below issues are noticed after the recent system update by SCB

1. Cards have been temporarily blocked without any communication.
( my 2 cards are temporarily blocked without communication, and realized only when the transaction failed and didn't receive otp. Called customer care and they confirmed this has effected a lot of users due to some issues with the update)

2. Total payment made in a single card is transferred to all cards by SCB cards where there are dues.
This stopped due to system issue after the update. Payment got reflect in one of my card on 30th Aug'24, however same was not transferred to other until 9th Sep, and was done after I had to call. Payment was due on 6th Sep so hopefully no issues due to 3 days grace period. But pathetic status after the update.

3. Transaction after July not reflected in online banking after 31st July.

4 Card services section not opening.

These are the few I noticed with my account. Do check if your cards are altest active or not.

They have started load shedding.
They are selling some of their business to Kotak. May be more in the pipeline.

Oops.. Kotak also same, no proper timeline for email responses, outdated mobile/netbanking interfaces (some of the features won't work) and need to visit branch for everything even though same available in mobile/netbanking because they didn't work.

Reward points credit is completely manual and need to escalate every month. Complaint resolution is very complicated and most of the time can't escalate through web channel and no way to respond through mail because of no-reply address.

Well, anycase it looks like SCB found its perfect match.
 
How can you say that ? Do you really meant what you said ?

RBI does not allow such harakiri by any bank. If SC had screwed up things in their accounting/app, RBI will get into the scene, AFTER it recieves some complaint against SC.

SC customers must raise the issue with RBI.
This issue has been going on for close to 5-6 months. It is obvious that nothing concrete has happened till date since it is not even in the news.
We are speaking of a bank the size of standard Chartered on a global level which is bigger than HDFC bank. (it may be small at India level but the bank has a pedigree in India to sustain.)

its crap now.. i just blocked transactions and left it in my drawer
