Does DBS bank offer LTF cards?

Then after few years your principal will start reducing maybe after 10 yrs as you pay EMI what will you do then? There is a 1500 fee if you don't maintain TVR.
It's just my first year with DBS. For the initial few years it should not be much of a problem, as most of the EMI goes in the interest component and the principal reduces slowly. Based on my experience will decide whether to continue to maintain the TRV by increasing savings, or to downgrade the account.

Still first year? then you have time to decided. How much CIBIL we need for 8.35% interest also it depends on income.

I don't think it has anything to do with the duration of relationship with the bank, but rather depends on when the credit card team decides to roll out the cards. I opened a treasures account less than a year ago. From day one I was asking my RM about Vantage, but she said that they are not issuing even Spark currently to anyone. I kept check my eligibility on the portal about once a month. All of a sudden since last month it showed me eligible for Spark 5 LTF and Spark 10 & Spark 15 paid. Still not eligible for Vantage though. I asked my RM if I take and use the Spark card, will it improve my chances of getting the Vantage, but she said it's nothing like that. So I haven't taken the Spark yet. It's not really that lucrative compared to other cards in the market.
Wait, there's a portal where it shows eligibility but we can choose to not take the card? There must be a CIBIL enquiry?

Found it: https://dbilcreditcards.dbs.com/COSPortal/?evt=sparkcard I thought for LTF, we must wait till offer came. Didn't know Portal also showed if eligible for LTF

I opened a DBS Basic 10K savings account 9 months ago! About a month ago,

I received a call from the branch offering me a pre-approved LTF Spark 5 credit card. During the call, after sharing two OTPs, one to confirm my identity and the second to consent to the credit card offer. I agreed to proceed.

I wouldn’t share OTPs with anyone over the phone, but since the call came from an official DBS Bank number, I felt comfortable doing so. The card was approved and generated within 10 minutes.

Later that day, I received another call explaining the card’s benefits. Out of curiosity,

I asked the representative about the credit limit, as it wasn’t yet visible in the app. After confirming my home address, they informed me of my limit. They also mentioned that the full limit would be usable and visible in the app after the card was delivered.

I frequently shop online and take advantage of discounts, so I had previously wanted to apply for a DBS card of any tier. However, every time I entered the last four digits of my debit card, the system showed my account as ineligible.

This action might have triggered the pre-approved offer, or perhaps they were extending it due to the end of the financial year.
