I want to make a payment annually in dollars for a website which is not in India, and they accept payments in dollars. I want to use credit card to make payment. Will i be charged extra , for currency conversion, forex, or any other fee?

I am making payment from Indian location itslef, please help me

1. SBI Cash Back Card Visa (Do we get 5% cashback for this international transaction?)
2. Scapia Federal Credit Card Visa
3. ICICI saphario Amex

Website: https://whitespark.ca/local-platform

Sbi cashback should give you 5% but will also have a conversion fee of ~4%
Scapia should be 0 forex conversion fee
Icici sapphiro amex and most other cards should charge fees ranging from 2%-4.5%

Very good website...where you find this gem huh??
Yes, the SBI Cashback Credit Card offers 5% cashback on online purchases, including international transactions.
Card has a foreign currency markup of 3.5% plus GST, which is approximately 4.13%.

Which means you don't end up paying anything extra, right?

btw most international websites dont ask for cvv and thats why no otp.

so how u buying from foreign ?

Wow! That's news! Thanks I learned something new. Reminds me of the importance of why you should be careful with the numbers.
Yep the thing is for some international websites the transaction passes through without otp, cvv etc.

Thats why my international usage is always disabled and only enabled with fixed allowed limit only before a specific transaction is to be done.

But for most international websites the transaction fails but its does register as failed transaction since you will see the amount that denied via SMS, app, etc.

unfortunately thats why 99% of the time i am unable to buy anything from overseas as the website does not even ask for cvv
