Does this means, i'm pre-preapproved for ultimate card

We've been receiving this pre-approved notification via email in my mother's account for the past ten days. She have a SC savings account for 4 years and has an MAB of around 70-80K.

should we apply for this card? My mother received an apay card with a 5L limit last month, but it is not reflected in cibil. Currently, cibil is down to 748 because icici did a 1L enquiry, and utilisation is around 56%.

Another question is whether or not a cibil investigation will be conducted because it is preapproved?

SC Ultimate has flat 3.3% reward rate which is really good if you are mostly into offline spends. Also, do note that there is Annual fee involved. You need to check whether you will be able to reap enough benefits to justify the Annual fee.
In the screenshot I see that both "pre-qualified" and "pre-approved" mentioned, both are different and usually the first one attracts hard inquiry and the second one don't. May be the person who has utilized this offer will have better perspective
Also, Hard enquiry has low impact on Cibil. one in a month won't do much damage but Utilisation plays a bigger role, Always try to keep it below 30%. Having another CC will reduce the utilisation as the overall credit limit increases

I too got pre approved smart card in scb this year April , applied via call , and card generated same day without cibil enquiry , I suggest you to wait a call from scb Mumbai and apply through them , you may not get cibil enquiry but not sure for ultimate process system , and Don’t expect huge limit

AMB maintained above 50k , transaction’s may be around 200k per month , six months old account when they offered card

I got SC smart card approved & used like 18% of limit on amazon. Received communication today my application was wrongly evaluated & the card has been cancelled with immediate effect & have to clear the dues by month end.

What can be done here? what are my chances had similar issues with RBL in past & the card was reactivated after RBI complaint

RBI can help you in this no one else

Not easy with SC but will give it a try complaint on mail asking for details for cancellation. Have to wait 30days before going to RBI

No. Haven't heard anyone receiving ultimate LTF... Though welcome benefits compensate the fees it just the gst you pay from the pocket

screenshot like this! It’s preapproved just apply , card will generated in one day, don’t think good credit limit. Apply through call centre for SR number.
