Domain purchase in SBI Cashback card

My friend purchased some website domain name of rs. 9500 with SBI cashback card, is this a excluded category? Because he has not received reward points.

Few days back I made a purchase on Amazon using my SBI card.. the item was under subscribe and save... I didn't received cashback for that too...
Upon asking SBI, they said it comes under utilities...

Good info ... also OTT subscriptions too are in the bucket of 1%

For me its ok, it is consistently giving 5% CBs
Almost all my purchases are on amazon, bigbasket and occasional bookings in yatra/ goibibo.

Subscribe and Save is the Culprit.

Auto Payments via Credit Card are always counted under Utility MCC.

Just buy gift card and add to your Amazon pay balance. Change the auto pay to Amazon pay balance. You'll get both Cashback and an increase in IQ! /s

Same revert for me, they have replied that it is considered in MCC 4816. So cashback is not eligible

I have googled it, and it is used for Computer network services, internet access, cyberlocker, file sharing and cloud storag

MCC 4816 is utility spend as per SBI

Amazon Pay ICICI has different integration with Amazon.
Apay ICICI Product ke according Cashback deta hai , Not MCC

I think I chose the wrong card for subscribe and save... had to change the it to Apay card.... SBI card ka alag hi code list hai
