Ease of opening a BSBDA

I visited all the banks available in my city.
Asking to open a zero balance account (BSBDA). To my surprise except idfc first bank all other banks denied having a zero balance account. Only when I threatened them to give me in writing or I'll have to involve RBI in this then they said yes there is this account but we don't usually open that anymore.
ICICI being the worst they didn't agree to open the account even when I left the branch.
I know the BSBDA account has many restrictions but what banks are doing is wrong. If RBI has given a option then why are banks not forwarding it?

Nowhere is it mentioned like that. RBI circular talks only about one bsbda per person per bank. There is no reference on having multiple bank bsbda accounts.

Can a person have BSBDA in HDFC and normal savings in other banks. Is it possible?

I have HDFC BSBD Account.
Using this account I am able to get tata neu plus without income doc( Earlier Rejected )
And also got rupay Platinum Debit Card Which is LTF 😂

Now want to open In Icici but we can only 1 Bsbda for Amazon ICICI (4times reject).

Do you have any other bank account other BSBDA in different bank.

Yes I had pmjdy account in bob which is bsbda also.
Both working fine...

Can we have normal savings account in HDFC , axis , sbi etc and one BSBDA in icici. If i open BSBDA in icici , will they close my other banks normal account. Please confirm?

Yes You can.
I am holding 2 hdfc account.
In this bsbda you won't be able to upgrade your rupay platinum debit card so did opened 5k mab for millennia.

Btw how did you convince them ?
I tried every possible way to open bsbda in ICICI but failed.

Brother how much transactions on average you make on your BSBD accounts. Can you please elaborate in some details if it's possible? Is there any limitations on transaction or any freeze will happen if we do more transaction?
