Axis Magnus Eazydiner 40% off upto ₹1000 not working

I tried paying a restaurant today on Eazydiner via Axis Magnus. But it showed error. I did not use this card before in this month. Even I tried with add on cards, but same error.



Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

75% + 25% off is not 100% off
That discount is calculated cumulatively.

Second, that first base discount you referred to 10% is the discount offered by the restaurant which will be included in the final bill check ED t&c for that.
And that second discount is the payment discount it's variable and changes as per the payment method you use. In your case it'll be 40per for magnus if axis haven't changed their t&c and pulled off ED offer.

Right , I later realised that in this case the 75%+25% is not 100%. Cuz after the 10% whatever the bill amount is, there is a further discount of 40% upto 1000 via Magnus.

So it's confirmed that you can book a table with these terms 10%+25% and still use Magnus at 40% via ED pay upto 1000?

10%+20% on 100
= 100*0.9*0.8 = 72 (28% off)

30% on 100
=100*0.7 = 70

Second discount is variable.

Oh man another deval in the ED offer. Just last month the 40% offer was available. It has been changed from 40% off upto 1000 on min bill on 2500. Now it's 30% off upto 1000 and on a minimum bill of 3000!!

So in the above example, post 30% restaurant discount, the bill needs to be min 3000 to get the 30% card discount? Or total bill need to be min 3000 and then it's 30% restaurant and then card discount??

The restaurant bill before 30% discount should be 4286 to 4761 (you have to order accordingly to make it this much after 10% service charge and 5% GST

The bill after the 30% restaurant discount should be 3000 to 3333.

Yea, true.. i am aware of those fancy places. But what I kinda ment was that Axis and ED have now pushed up the minimum billing while reducing the discount.

Axis Magnus/Reserve/Burgundy Private Eazydiner offer reduced from 40% to 30%. Max capping still remains 1000. Minimum amount raised from 2500 to 3000.

No changes for lower variants.

Yes you need to be good in maths to order accordingly and make the bill total as mentioned above

Axis magnus is visa 451460 bin, the card number entered is a master card.

Try any restaurant bill payment now with your magnus and check. Please correct me if I am mistaken.

but it's very difficult to get free add on cards, they don't give them

When v were kids, we went to Axis bank, filled up physical forms and requested..had also followed it up..
Now that I have grown old, things must have changed and technology must have prevailed - call customer care and check!

Add on cards for all Axis cards are on hold. You cannot get one at branch or online maybe till Sep'24 end or so.
