Offer Fulfilled! Eazydiner insider info

The offer has been fulfilled by the bank/company.
DRs will never agree on this. The popular ones get 100% undisclosed undeclared cash income.
Why will they disclose and pay hefty taxes.
It was true before demonetisation 2016
After that cash income dropped dramatically by more than 50% for specialists and consultants.
Family physicians were not much affected, they continued to earn cash, because the charges were below 500.

Then after COVID, it dropped by 90% for specialists and consultants.
Again family physicians were less affected.
Now all patients want to pay by credit card or UPI

Still there are lot of doctors who only take cash payment for OPD.

UPI I agree- maybe 5% in tier2-3 cities. but by Credit card, maybe only 0.05%.

I am talking about private clinics. I have seen most of the people still deal in cash when it comes to doctor visits.

Yes these are family physicians and consultants charging only Rs 500.
Specialists charging more than 5000 or 10000 will have to keep a swipe machine and accept Google pay

true only for metros.
In teir-2/3 cities, towns, villages - most transactions still happen in cash & no bill is ever given.

My friend, the owner of the restaurant told me all this in confidence.
Guys this information is confidential, so please do not share it with anyone or on social media or on any group.
it is only for the secret group
BTW, Kapil Chopra, Eazydier founder mentioned in a podcast that Eazydiner deucts 5% + payment charge from the payment made via the app. I have been using that since 2 years now.

5% was the commission charged for the take away e and food delivery service, when they launched Safe+ Delivery service

I got inside information about how the discount structure works from a restaurant owner who has tied up with Eazydiner.

a. The first discount is given fully by the restaurant
b. The second discount is provided by the bank credit card.
c. Eazydiner deducts 10% of the money payable to the restaurant as it's commission.

For example if the discount shown on Eazydiner app is 30% + 25%, then
You will get 1st discount of 30% from the restaurant and 2nd discount of 25% or 30% from the credit card used (40% discount is gone forever).

Example --
4000 bill + 10% service tax + 5% GST equals 4600
1st discount (30% restaurant discount with no upper cap) makes it 3220.
2nd discount (30% credit card discount with max 1000 cap) on Magnus, Reserve, Private, Vistara infinite, M&M Select makes it 2254. (+ 45 Eazydiner convenience fee)

So you have to pay 2299 on Eazydiner app.
So your total benefit is 4600 - 2299 = 2301 (approx 50% at best, not 30 + 30 = 60%)

Eazydiner will deduct 322 (10% of 3220) as its commission & pay the restaurant 2898

1. Restaurant will earn 3220 - 322 = 2898 (on it's original bill of 4600) a 37% reduction
2. Eazydiner will earn 322 + 45 = 367, but pay MDR on 2299
3. Credit card bank will lose 966, but earn MDR on 2299
4. Customer/ Eazydiner member holding Axis super premium card will spend 2299, approx 50% less at best

Eazydiner convenience fee is gradually increasing, only 5 rupees at a time so that nobody notices or bothers
Eazydiner's commission is not exactly 10%. In our city, they are charging 7% depends on agreement with restaurants management. Remaining payable amount will be credited by Eazydiner only once in week/ once in 2 week basis depends on agreement. For small range hotels, instead of percentage, Eazydiner is charging 25 Rs per person from restaurant. It will be 50 Rs if person takes liquor.

EazyDiner eat out festival (50% off) has begun. Does anyone know till when is this festival on and what is the last date? Nothing is mentioned on the app.
Also, I assume the 50% restaurant discount is uncapped. Is that so?

Yes I confirmed there is no upper cap for the first discount of 50%
Even if your bill is 100000 you will get 50000 as the 1st discount from the restaurant.
The second discount depends on your card, 25% or 30% or less

From past many years experience it generally goes on till Diwali
But at least 2 months is likely

I was just checking some of the restaurant under this festival.. and the discount for this particular restaurant was 30% and not 50%. Then I rechecked the terms, and it is UPTO 50%.. so it's restaurant based and not 50% for all.
Currently max date to book shows 8th Oct. Maybe that's the limit on tht app and it will change as the days go by.

You need to choose from the restaurants showing exactly 50% + 25% discount, not up to 50% discount
There are many in Mumbai

Right.. the restaurant that I was thinking for was for 30%. I then realized that the festival is not 50% flat ( I assumed ) for all participating restaurant as advitised on the banner.
