Emeralde to be discontinued by ICICI Bank

I spoke with a credit cards representative from ICICI this morning and accordingly to her (internal information) Emeralde is soon to be discontinued by ICICI Bank.

Any insights on this matter?

Anyone has any confirmation on when the plastic is going to be discontinued? I wonder why it's being offered to a lot of people in the mobile app still.

The plastic card was originally discontinued to make way for the Metal card. However, ICICI has again started offering the plastic version. Although the plastic version is inferior to the metal version in terms of offering.
