Emirates Skywards ICICI Bank Sapphiro Credit Card

I have a lot of upcoming travel to Europe and ICICI Emirates Skywards Emerald would be a perfect fit. But my salary is tad bit below the monthly 2.5L requirement for the Emerald version, so I am thinking that I should go for the Sapphiro version. Mainly cuz I get Emirates Silver status, but will be stuck at silver without the option to get to/maintain Emirates gold.

Does ICICI upgrade from Sapphiro to Emerald later ?
What are some general thoughts around the ICICI Emirates Sapphiro version cuz its not been discussed much anywhere ?

If you already have an ICICI Credit Card with a good limit, call the CC. They will issue the card on the call with charges. No, need to satisfy income criteria.

Thanks! I tried reaching out but they said the card is available only on offer basis and cannot be applied for. The site keeps on hiving me technical error.
