Tell them you will upgrade to infiniti banking in few months if you get good banking services & rewards dc for you as well as your parents.
Go to a different branch. Just tell them to give you e-Age form. Fill it up, do the biometrics and give it to them. No need to engage in useless talk. Branch has no authority to deny it. They are just postman who will forward the form to Chennai.
That's why I haven't gone to rewards dc.. totally fine with 750rs 🙂
You could have opened a new account under same cust id. That way you could keep them both.
ONe more account. I just took it because it was easy to just WhatsApp replacement. Waise bhi I think concept of rewards on debit card has been so misused by finding one or another tricks to game the system probably every bank will shut it down sooner or later. Already seen that. Yes it immediately shows upgrade and WhatsApp is even easier for reissue of any past card. But new one doesn't get that 750 cash back. But that was to happen eventually.
