Exclusive RuPay Lounge Opened at Delhi Airport Terminal 3

TL;DR RuPay Lounge started in Delhi T3 on 12th September 2024. Available exclusively for RuPay CREDIT CARD holders. Next RuPay Exclusive Lounge to open in Mumbai. Idea of RuPay exclusive lounge is to create standalone lounges like American Express in Mumbai and Delhi.

Yes about the RuPay card has been updated in the T&C/Notes. Will also update the Premium RuPay cards soon.

Visited Rupay lounge today. Lounge is just beside gate no 41. Ambience was good and around 3 people were there in the lounge. Food selection was also good with items comparable to the other T3 lounges. Lounge is managed by Encalm. **The bonus was the game room with PS5 but will less game selection. Today was the 4th day of the lounge.

Visited Rupay lounge today. Lounge is just beside gate no 41. Ambience was good and around 3 people were there in the lounge. Food selection was also good with items comparable to the other T3 lounges. Lounge is managed by Encalm. **The bonus was the game room with PS5 but will less game selection. Today was the 4th day of the lounge.

But opening an exclusive Rupay network lounge and then excluding rupay debit cards seems counterintuitive, as there might be more rupay debit cards in circulation then credit cards, this will disenfranchise a lot of people

Any Rupay cc will work. Tried with cards with and without lounge access. You just need to make a payment of 2 rs in their scanner

A lot of speculation about the spending criteria. If RuPay is trying to be like a standalone lounge American Express, then it needs to maintain the spending criteria set by the bank otherwise it won't be exclusive and will see a lot of overcrowding as all the banks are issuing RuPay DC nowadays.

Rupay DC will not work I have tried and for now I don't think they are checking the spending criteria. Just go and scan the QR code. It will work

@Swastik Confirmed. DC is not allowed. Spending criteria remain as per the bank T&C. There were people in the line whose Jupiter Edge RuPay card & Yes Bank virtual RuPay card didn't work.
