Experience with account aggregators?

Those who are using account aggregators (AA) how has your experience been?

Any data concerns?
I think ecosystem should evolve similar to UPI. Some credit card issuers have already started using AA- eg. SBI Cards, Kotak, Indian Bank.

I was thinking, since credit issuers will force us to use (more than even aadhar), we can use them for our own use also. The process should be similar to how CDSL collates all Mutual Funds using PAN .

Bump!!

Any detailed usage review/experience please? I think Fold is the most famous one. Any long term review of that?

Is there any AA app that gives spending tracking across banks (upi also) and credit cards automatically without having to upload statements?

I use Onemoney AA that comes in Bank of Baroda app. I use it only to see consolidated view of account balance across multiple savings bank account.

When trying to apply for HDFC CC, came across another AA as HDFC wants to see my transactions in my SB account.

I think it has a lot of potential, but is yet to take off for wider usage.

IDFC highly requested me to use similar feature present in their app.

I use UPI 'Check Balance' for the same. And use spends manager to track spends and categorise them.

Not so good. None of the account aggregators are good and stable enough to handle all accounts. Almost every one's UI is bad. Many are not able to fetch things properly.

Can't agree more.

I think the problem is not just with account aggregators, but also with the banks. For example, Canara bank allows fetching the closing balance of previous day. Not the real time balance.

With Ujjivan bank, the account aggregator was able to fetch even the FDs (of Ujjivan bank), but not with some other banks.

Some banks aren't supported by account aggregators, either. Not sure if the issue is with account aggregators or banks.
