Exploring MCC for Telecom| RBL EDC

Telecom MCC 4814 in PhonePe must be tied to some merchant NAME that shows on the payment gateway page. What is that merchant name?

"PHONEPE RECHARGE BANGALORE IN" gives 4814 MCC. The prob is, merchant name comes very rare. Hence I haven't shared it.

Use RBL Enterprise Debit Card.

It gives 5% cash back as vouchers on utility payment (Electricity/Gas/water etc.)
i. 5% cash back as vouchers is applicable on utility payments only.
ii. Maximum limit for cash back as vouchers is INR 1000/- in a month.
iii. To get the benefits card member has to do payment for electricity, gas, heating oil, sanitary,water (MCC – 4900,4812 & 4816) through Enterprise debit card.

if we pay below 1k, there will be no charges
also afair the charges were only 1.2% appx where returns through edc was 5%
3.8% is still better and good

Minus 2000+GST annual fees. so net will be around 3.0%.
mcc may not be always same. Knowing the behavior of Axis If most people start using it then it will be vanished in just one month. keep that in mind. Hence, I request u all not to publish it too much everywhere. Let other people find it out by their own. sufficient posts are already there on this in TF community its just that people need to do some searching.
