Facing Issue with Starting IndusInd Bank Exclusive Account

Hello Team ,

Creating this new thread as i didnt found any Solution / threads that is discussing this issue.

So i just got indusInd Pinnacle CC with an optional LTF after spending 50K in 3 Months and now when i am trying to create a Exclusive Account online its failing with error :

EBTE0001: We are unable to process your request online. Kindly contact nearest Branch or call 020-26343201/ 020-69019000 for further assistance.

I tried connecting with a IndusInd Employee regarding this he is saying its becuase i already Hold an FD ( the overlimit FD created by Paytm when the amount in paytm is abouve the threshold balance) back in Golden time of Paytm accounts.

any way to bypass this without visiting a branch for getting exclusive account 🙁

I think only branch people can fix your this issue, there is not possible any online process so the best way to open an account and fix everything go to branch they open your account.

Just to bring closure to this Thread:

The issue was becuase of PAYTM which started a FD in my name when my balance in paytm Savings account was higher than a threshold limit, though the FD was closed it caused a CIF already in my name causing anything online impossible for me.

I visited the branch and started the ACcount though the minimum balance requirement was 2L

I had a similar problem during the online account opening. Though, I took the help from a employee to resolve it online so skipped to visit the branch.
Yes, Indusind branch employees will ask 2L for opening the Exclusive Account, once done you can link it with your current Pinnacle CC & make it technically zero MAB account so you don’t have to maintain the MAB 1 Lakh for your Exclusive Account as your Pinnacle CC will act as surrogate.

Ask them to open a basic savings ac with 40k initial investment along with that sign the upgradation form too for exclusive upgrade.

As soon as your new kit for basic savings account arrives, signup using new userid for savings account and link pinnacle and hold the funds.
Within 3-4 days AC will be upgraded to pinnacle without any investment of 2L.

And for the initial issue that can be fixed through the branch.

I am not getting option to open exclusive account online. I get only three options with "select" account being the best one. If I open a basic or select account online and later link my pinnacle cc, can the account be upgraded to exclusive without visiting branch?

that can't be done online, you better go to the branch they'll assist you in the process plus in the future.

I don't trust either.

Can anyone who has an active Indusind account check and confirm if such option is available in net banking/app under Service Requests/Account Request option?

I dearly suggest you to visit a branch if it's in your vicinity as it'll take a single visit to the branch for everything as if you face any issue with the account upgrade later bank employees will put your request down the priority line. That could be probable case.
