FASTag Misclassification & Overcharges

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share an ongoing issue with my FASTag that might resonate with others who have experienced similar problems. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been dealing with unexpected overcharges at tolls, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it, I’m still facing issues. Here’s what’s been happening:

The Issue
My vehicle (an LMV - Light Motor Vehicle) has always been correctly charged for tolls at the LMV rate. However, for the past few weeks, my toll charges have suddenly switched to LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) rates, nearly doubling my costs each time I cross a toll. This shift occurred without any explanation, despite my vehicle clearly being registered as LMV according to the RC I submitted during FASTag activation.

Customer Support Challenges
To address this, I tried calling the FASTag customer care team multiple times, hoping for a quick explanation and a solution. Unfortunately, each time I managed to connect, the representative would hang up without any resolution or feedback. This lack of support has been frustrating and has left me without any idea of why the issue occurred or when it might be resolved.

I wanted to post here to ask if anyone else has experienced similar misclassification or customer support challenges. If you’ve dealt with this or found a resolution, I’d appreciate any tips or advice on how best to proceed.
