ICICI Fastag Fuel Payment Direct

After ICICI disabled fuel transactions for all via the ICICI FasTag +HP Pay route, I mailed ICICI bank to activate that. ICICI Bank confirmed activating the same but still, it was showing disabled in my account. I confirmed with them again and they asked me to ignore what's showing online and use my Fastag for fuel payments.

Since HP Pay is unreliable when it comes to payments via Fastag I asked the Pump guy to deduct via my Fastag directly. The attendant at the HPCL pump brought in a special PayTM pos and the procedure was as follows.

1) Click on Sale
2) Select Fuel Type
3) Select Fastag Sale
4) Enter Amount
5) Select Bank
6) Enter the last four digits of the vehicle number
7) Punch in the OTP
And it's done. The good thing is that now you can recharge your ICICI Fastag directly from Amazon Pay without any convenience fees! This should work even for IDFC Bank fastags.\

I wrote a mail to icici but no use
I raised a service request in fastag login portal but it’s open for a week
5 k stuck😊

My friend's HP pay shows ICICI fastag balance but the OTP never comes.

Even mine is disabled. If there is no toll payment for last 60 days, then ICICI is disabling fuel transactions.

I too sent a mail they replied with a toll free no to contact “1800 1080 and select option number 6.”

Got to know that their system has detected few accounts where fasttag is used just for fuel and no toll, and such accounts have being flagged.

These accounts need to complete kyv process online (know your vehicle), i have done the same. Waiting for an update.

So if you are a genuine fast tag user, complete your kyv and it should start working again

I’ve used fasttag every month, still my fuel got disabled recently. Raised a request in approval, updating vehicle details, then kyv. Let’s see how this goes.
