As he predicted, IDFC First has recently increased the FD rates (by 0.25% pa). At the same time, liquid MFs have started generating lower returns. Time for me to move a big chunk of money from the liquid fund to FDs 😄.

Rbi Repo rate cut will begin in few months, hence fd interest rate in most banks will not be increased from now.
