Federal Bank Credit Card Application Experience?

I have recently applied for federal bank credit card. Here’s my experience,
I tried to apply, credit enquiry hit Experian and I was offered options for Signet and Imperio. While I was still thinking, I got session times out. I logged in again to resume my application and it again hit another credit enquiry. I wasn’t satisfied with the cards and the limit offered. I wanted Celesta. I talked to their customer support but they were not helpful. I also wrote to their mail support but did not hear back even once after 4 working days. I thought to finally apply for Imperio, so I logged in to resume my application and this time the process was a bit different than before. It directly hit the credit enquiry upon login and asked for my bank statement. I tried to upload bank statement but it failed and I got logged out. I tried to login to continue and it hit another credit enquiry. This time I was able to upload the bank statement successfully but the step to select the card got skipped and I was provided a reference number. Now I am confused what card have I applied for and their customer support is useless as usual. Has anyone faced similar issue?
This has been my worst experience so far and I wouldn’t suggest anyone to go for any of their cards even if it provides any value. I am now waiting to see what card I will get which I think will most likely be Signet and I won’t be activating in that case. Pretty sure my credit score might have taken a hit and it will take quite some time to restore.

Why do you think so?! A couple of inquiries won't affect the credit score. Also, as you mentioned, don't activate if you received a different card than you expected or applied for.
I thought multiple enquiries would affect my score, as I have enquiries but no new addition to my credit accounts implying rejection?

If that's also the concern, then what you could do now is to get the latest credit report. Check CIBIL report too, not sure if you are a user of CIBIL website. If not, register and get the free CIBIL report.

Check for number of enquiries in all your credit reports. Suppose there are 5 enquiries from Federal in your CIBIL report in short span of time (same day or consecutive days), then write an email to PNO of Federal and request them to remove 4 of these from all the CICs by explaining what led to these many enquiries. They will be able to remove the extra enquiries from the CICs.

For NTB, HDFC CC application portal is notorious too like Federal. Not sure who is following who. Each time you enter mobile/PAN/aadhaar, you get rewarded with one CIBIL enquiry even if you logged in again with in couple of minutes. But if you reach out to HDFC GR, they take their sweet time to remove the extra enquiry but they remove.
They didn't even put a check in place that if for the same PAN they queried CIBIL just 5 minutes ago, then no need to query again so soon. ICICI takes care of this logic.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll write to Federal. I don’t have enquiries in my CIBIL but there are 4 in the Experian.
