Feedback on Dekho Andaman travel agency

Dear travel enthusiasts

We are planning to visit Andamand and Niconar islands from 30 March to 4th April for 5N/6D. We are 8 adults, 3 kids and 1 infant.
While I'm planning the trip, I found Dekho Amdaman Travel agency.
1. Any reviews/ feedback/ experience with this agency?
2. 3 star hotel package is offered at Rs. 15500/ person. Is it reasonable price?
3. Any other trusted travel agency you suggest?
4. Shall I plan my trip personally or it is better to go through travel agent?

I have used Experience Andamans during my Andaman trip in 2019. They were good & didn't faced any issue. We booked airport pick/drop, Makruzz ferry ticket from Port Blair to Havelock & return ferry ticket on Makruzz from Havelock to Port Blair.

Booked Seashell hotel at both Port Blair & Havelock Island.

We also used them to book sightseeing/activities through them.

That time I was not much into credit card game so booked everything with them except flights.

No idea about the agency name you mentioned.

Best is to book hotels yourself as per your preference and budget and only take pick and drop plus sightseeing service from the tour operators. I did the same during my 2nd visit last year and booked pick and drop plus sightseeing from Island Cab Services. In this way you can maximize your card benefits and also get the convenience of day to day travel from the tour operators. Also you can customise the trip as per your preference.

I visited Port Blair somewhere around 2014, it's a long time. But would like to provide few suggestions. Make your own itinerary, book hotels online from Port Blair tourism, specially the one in Havelock is a must book and have huge rush and also book other services like cruise online. Now arrive Andaman and take a car package from Port Blair to Port Blair or just book the car package beforehand. An itinerary from my side for your help.

Andaman Detail Itinerary
Day 1:
Upon Arrival at Port Blair Airport transfer to hotel by Cab. Afternoon visit Carbyn’s Cove Beach (water sports activities). National Memorial Cellular Jail. Evening Light & Sound Show at Cellular Jail then back to hotel
Day 2:
Morning Port Blair to Ross Island & North Bay by private boat. (Scuba diving)
Day 3:
Port Blair to Havelock Island by boat, visit to Elephanta Beach by fiber boat Sea walk ( Complementary Snorkeling) return to hotel.
Day 4:
Morning Scuba diving later after lunch visit to Radha Nagar Beach (Asia No1 Beach) Return to hotel.
Day 5:
Morning Havelock to Neil Island by Boat later after lunch Visit Bharatpur Beach and Sitapur Beach. Then back to hotel.
Day 6:
Morning back to Port Blair from Neil Island rest at hotel, afternoon Visit to Chidyatapu Beach and Sunset spot then drop to hotel.
Day 7:
Morning 4.00 AM Start your journey from hotel to Bara tang around 100 km road Journey.Site Seeing Mud Valcono And Lime Stone Cave.
Day 8:
After breakfast visit Mount Harriet (Andaman’s 2nd highest peak) and national park
Day 9:
Morning visit to Samudrika Museum, Chatham Saw Mill, Anthropological museum Evening local purchasing Handloom &handicrafts etc at Port Blair market then drop to Hotel.
Evening : National Memorial Cellular Jail. Evening Light & Sound Show at Cellular Jail then back to hotel
Day 10:
After Breakfast Airport drop from hotel with sweet memories.

I preferred TSG hotels. So stayed at TSG Blue in Havelock, TSG Aura at Neil. And TSG emerald in Port Blair. When I had visited few years back I had stayed at Pearl Park resort at Neil which was also good

We have taken a tour to Andaman Island with them with the help of their team and had a Great vacation.. although u can also prefer to have a hotel booked online via MMT and Agoda, as u can get some coupon discounts. Look for beach properties at Havelock and Neil island..there are many, u can try Ocean tree , Symphony palms or go with budgeted options liek White Sand beach resort.

Though we took the complete Package with Dekho team, but booked few of our stays online as we found it to b a cheaper deal their.

U can definitely prefer them for cruise and water sports bookings , as when we visited theere were few changes in the schedule of our ferries and their team was prompt in providing a change on spot
