Looks like a credit card from Fi Money is about to come soon...

This blog post is dated 10th March and here is the excerpt on the Fi Money credit card -

If you’re looking for an entry-level card, ours is a good bet too! Your Fi Money card is a strong, rewards-packed card that gives you reward points on your top 3 brands of each month. So let’s say you spent a lot on MakeMyTrip flight tickets this month, followed by Zomato food orders and maybe Amazon shopping. You get 1 Fi-Coin (reward point) per ₹1 spent on these brands. But now let’s say the next month you may not spend on flight tickets at all, but you spend instead on a new phone at Croma. Then, you’ll be rewarded for your spends on Croma.

The rewards:
1 Fi-Coin (reward point) per ₹1 spent on top 3 brands of the month
1 Fi-coin per ₹5 spent on all other expenses
Rewards on all spends including rent and fuel
1% charges on forex
No joining fees

Sounds similar to OneCard

It is funny how they put a fictional card in a list of top credit cards. Logics and ethics are of no concern to these new-age startups
Nevertheless, the reward structure is similar to OneCard. The value of 1 Fi coin is approximately Rs. 0.03 (when redeemed for Amazon vouchers). So, in the top 3 spends category, one could get around 3% rewards. If it is an LTF card, it could be a good option for rent payment

Fi coins have no value.. you get 1000 Amazon voucher for 32999 coins.. 😂😅

If it is a no fuss card (no restrictions on top 3 brands/categories), I would be happy to pay 2k as annual fee

If the top 3 category allows rent payment, wallet loads, fuel, utility bill payments, I think the card would be a hit. It would be a perfect replacement for SC Ultimate

Most probably it won't include all this. We can't expect new age company to bear cost for those categories which even banks have restricted.

Well we are speculating here, aren't we? I am saying that it may be worth the fee if it does not have massive restrictions. Else, it will be yet another worthless piece of plastic
