FI Money Infinite account | 2% in UPI/Debit Card spends

Does anyone upgraded to Infinite account variant by maintaining 50k? Share your practical experience on benefits like 2% cashback and their acceptable merchant transactions for those cashbacks.

I have no upgraded to prime but earlier was in infinite n I used to pay cc bills using cred via fi app to get the 2%

so the true value of prime cashback is not 3%, it's 2.49% at best and can't be converted all of it at one go coz max coins per month is 50k.

Prime is just a gimmick to give just the same 2% cb.
Exactly. A month's payments won't accumulate more than 50K coins as per their new T&C and 60K coins required for ₹1000 cash so we're actually getting ₹833 which is 50K coins. And can't redeem them until 60K coins accumulate over 2 months

Otherwise buy ₹1100 Amazon GV every month with 50K coins supplying ₹1000 + ₹100 extra paid from our Fi account but then money trapped as Amazon Gifts & Credits, no interest earned on it.

₹1000 as cash in account is any day better than ₹1100 Amazon Gift voucher

Well, you can save up 400000 coins to get ₹8000 (3%), but yes, difficult to trust them and wait for that long. Previously, I had saved up 250000 coins to redeem for ₹10000 and they removed that option just as I was about to get there (and increased voucher prices, etc). Ended up getting lame returns.

I'm pretty sure the rest of the plans would've also stopped giving direct cashback, so even if you're not on Prime, you'll get lesser returns if you redeem ₹1000.

There are better ways to get Amazon vouchers. Simplest is 5% on cb card + offers on bill payments

Lol Kudos to your trust on fi but I wouldn't trust them.

Yeah same terms for other plans as well. Gotta find a better rewarding options till then fi is alright.

Will hear reports from Infinite users if they are getting pwned and then decide. Are Infinite plan users getting at least enough coins for direct ₹500 cash redemption or the same nonsense - intentionally just a little shorter than ₹500 to make us buy gift voucher?
