Finally got my First Amex Credit Card!!

Hello everyone,

Last year when Amex started accepting applications in November, I applied for the credit cards but my application got rejected because my PIN code was not serviceable.

I contacted @BestBanker in February but it was rejected again.

I contacted him again this month and applied for the card again. This time my application was approved and the card was delivered in 1 day after shipping.

I have been approved for Amex Platinum Travel Credit Card. All thanks to @BestBanker, as my PIN code was not serviceable and Amex was rejecting my application. He helped me through the application and got it approved in two days.

Can you guys give some suggestions on how to maximise the benefits on this card?

Congrat! there are thread on these and numerous few are
spend 190,000 in a year, you get 15,000 MR points.
spend 400,000 in a year, you get additional 25,000 MR points
10,000 Taj voucher for spending 400,000

Hi all,
Recently applied for amex mrcc card but it got rejected saying "After reviewing your application, it has come to our notice that the details provided in your application do not meet our internal requirements for Card issuance."

I have a 791 CIBIL score and has 12.5 CTC .

@BestBanker Can you please help me.

Got an Amex Charge card a few days ago at first the Spending Power was Rs 0. Called customer care they said card was not activated properly. Now when I am checking the SP it is Rs 25000 only. So will the SP increase overtime or is there something I am missing on ?

Car surrogate for American express cards

Card surrogate is now available only for Platinum Charge card . In next few days we will have CAR surrogate for Platinum travel ,Reserve and Platinum Charge as well . Will post the list of eligible cars , Terms and Conditions soon .

Keep using and it will increase. It's just a credit limit that's not visible to us but exists in their system.
