HSBC: Dear Customer, this is to inform you that SMS notifications for successful login on the HSBC India Mobile banking app will be discontinued from mid November'2024. However, you will continue to receive said notifications on email.

Seriously! I used to think twice before login into the app. Security k naam pe inconvenience hai

When I don't receive the OTP while making transactions, I used to login to the app to find out if the problem is with the sender or my mobile network.

The feature might be annoying but really important these days.

I have opened a new bank account. I am getting emails for each login instead of sms.

you can create an email rule to delete them automatically. I don't think you can turn off from hsbc end.

Canara Bank also sends the same SMS every time you login. How irritating.
