Open an account in PNB or Canara Bank or ICICI Bank..... And Apply for a secured card.

Min FD amount for PNB and Canara Bank : 15k. Cooling period : 30 days, before applying for a credit card against FD.

ICICI .... Min FD amount : 50K. ( Instant credit card against FD )

Which card in particular should i ask?

Also the SBI bank here is too small (i mean imagine 100 customer in total😭) would it dent my offline application?

Small branches with few customers are more eager to onboard new customers with exciting offers. This could work in your favour…!!
Also, you being a newbie, don’t fall for their words…choose wisely and negotiate hard…you being a govt. employee…they won’t let you go.
P.S.- I’m also a CPSU employee, I joined 12 years back. I remember, back then my SBI Salary account branch chipkaoed most of my friends with a SBI credit card (5k fee) without explaining much to them!!

Onecard is also a good option ,you can easily get their secured card for as low as 5k FD ,and when you build enough cibil to move to an unsecured card ,just close Onecard, you won't miss much

After Apr 24 devaluation, you can live happily without IDFC cards ,so don't worry if they won't give you another in future

HDFC has a branch in Kannauj, if you gross is over 1L pm ,just get Regalia Gold from branch ,as a New to bank customer they'll happily oblige

Seriously??😭😍 Don't know about gross as of now.
But i can travel 15km for it🤡
Got around 90k pm for 2 months in hand after all taxes , accomodation (500pm) , phone bill(500pm) , fuel etc.

You can easily get SBI SimplyClick Card. Just apply it and you will get approval. Since your account is in SBI bank, no address verification etc. required.

If you want a Rupay card to use with UPI then you can apply SBI SimplySave Card.

Cashback is not given offline. You need to apply online but without cibil it will be rejected.

You can get secured CC from OneCard, Paisabazaar. There are a whole lot of Secured cobranded cards from SBM bank.But OneCard is the best. One of my friend who lives in a remote place in WB got OneCard easily.
