Hello Friends I have banking relation with HDFC Bank since one year.
I'm looking for HDFC Millennia Credit Card As LTF. Previously had Money Back plus but closed in April (after 6 months use) just because of low credit limit (50K). CIBIl 785

Currently I have FD of 150000+30000 in HDFC . 150000 FD for Max account benifits.
My question is-
Should I break My 30000 FD and keep it in my main Account balance for higher MAB (currently my MAB is approx 20K ) or keep this FD Continue.
What is more beneficial for me please suggest.
Thanks in advance.

Neither MAB nor FD relationship matters. Banking Programmes are also unrelated to the credit cards.

Your account activity matters. Use your debit card, do netbanking transactions, use banking services as much as possible. That's my experience.

Thanks for reply but if I have other credit cards then why and where I'll use my debit card. I use my debit card but where there is no rewards or Cashback on other cards. There is no specific time, like after 3 months or 6 months use of debit card they will definitely offer me so it will make my other cards worthless. Any suggestions for this problem

I have a different experience here.

Not sure about HDFC. But in other banks MAB & TRV do matters for giving you better CC options and limit enhancement.😑😑

For eg: Just check the case of ICICI they do have certain NRV required for Emerald cards. If you met this NRV then easily you can get otherwise you have to reach out to everyone for approvals and blah blah blah....

Is there any benefit(for credit card purpose only) if I opened a RD for 6 months ??
