Free Cancellation on International Flights

Hi, I want to book a return flight from Madrid to New Delhi for 1st and last week of May. I also require free cancellation and I am ready to pay a reasonable amount for it, however I am unable to find any options for this, checked almost all the common websites. Is there a way to get free cancellation through some insurance or any other possibilities for this? Wanted to book the flights early because the prices are quite reasonable right now.

You want to book for visa purpose? Then try emirates flex fare it is expensive but they will give a full refund on cancellation.

You can try with cancellable fare offered by the airlines itself
Although its usually costlier than third party plans

I saw that, however it was 50% more expensive than the base flight cost
