Freecharge app v16.5.0

Rs5000 limit for the 24hrs after wallet creation.

I have axis bank acct with same mobile no. FC was updated to full kyc on entering PAN no for kyc.

Activated the FC wallet UPI. took 2-3 clicks only. if original UPI handle is like abcd@freecharge then wallet handle is like XXXX@fcwallet

Tips: Add money via zomato without charge using Credit Card/Prepaid card.

Yesterday I activated and did a test Txn of Rs.1

I loaded Rs.1 via Credit Card on Zomato App.

Then sent Rs.1 to a Merchant UPI ID.

You are loading money yourself it is considered as Main Wallet Balance only.

Only Cashback from Freecharge is considered as Freecharge Gift Instrument. Which is not eligible for UPI Transfer.

Even the customer care refused that only for selected users its available.

Yes.
Either it is temporary or Permanent.

Last month also, it was removed by Zomato for few days and then it came back

Yes seems they have removed it. Essentially FC saying, load wallet using 2% charge and after that i dont care if you carry it to bank or timbuctoo. Need to look for another merchant to load.

Freecharge ne tumhare jaiso ke liye hi Add money pe charges lagaye hai.
Charges do aur karo jitna rotate karna hai

I am happy Yeh Charges Merchant Txns ke liye Applicable Nhi hai, just because some people is abusing add money via Credit Card feature

Like Paytm is charging even for doing Merchant txns.

Try Tata neu or Payzapp.

Or Buy Phonepe Gift card from Woohoo and Pay it on Phonepe.

For Small Bills Phonepe Gift card working fine.
For large bills also I think it will work fine

Have any of you tried Branch X ?
I have rotated 6k until now safely through mobikwik and freecharge.
The only downside is the interface is very shitty and their customer care is much more shittier.
