General info needed on burgundy

I wanted everyone to share there experiences by which route they got upgraded to burgundy. As per current scenario its 5L opening balance for burgundy and 10L monthly average savings amount.

According to the customer care of axis (don't trust them much) - as soon as your balance is 10L in savings account you can apply for burgundy next day. (I have no clue how this works)

There were many threads but none had the required clarity (atleast the ones I read didn't) .

So Burgundy holders kindly share your experiences on how you got it and especially the savings route ones. As many on this forum look for that option

Maintenance of an Average Monthly Balance of ₹10 lakhs in the Savings Account (AMB).
5L initial deposit is for them to be able to create the request of a Burgundy saving (SBPRV).
10L to sustain that request. One has to deposit the remaining 5L anyway. So why not do it right away.

You mentioned "upgrade", so I assume you already have a saving account with Axis and you want to upgrade it to SBPRV.
From my personal experience, going to the branch and meeting with branch head or operations head mostly works.
You could just ask them to upgrade your account to Burgundy saving account by depositing the remaining balance of 10L. They could initiate the request right away.
If they say you need to maintain this for a month or two for them to initiate the request, please know that it's not always the case.
Folks do get upgraded to Burgundy as soon as they deposit 10L.
If they deny, walk to some other branch, and you could open a new burgundy account.
You could also ask them info/criteria about Magnus for Burgundy CC if that is of interest to you.

Branch folks might try to sell you any insurance or investment products, don't fall for it.
