Google Pay Taking Too much charges for Mobile Recharge

Today,when i done a recharge in Google pay app via axis ace credit card then i pay 202.70 INR for 199 recharge plan.Take platform fee and convenience fee 3.70 on 199 recharge plan.is this Google pay doing for 5% cashback on ace credit card?

Avoid my mistakes in english grammar...

As far as I know, this fee was only applicable to mobile recharges until now. Just five days ago, I paid an electricity bill using the same card, and there was no such fee included. However, today, while paying another bill, I noticed this fee being applied. 0.75% + GST.

Yeah increased rapidly from last month. Closing my ace before renewal next yr

Already closed Axis ace card few days before. Useless card now with GPay convenience fee. Amazon Friday offer is much better.

It is really becoming tiresome, with mobile operators hiking plan charges. And now this convenience fee nonsense!!

There was a time when I was trying badly for this ACE card as it carried 2% CB on offline. Glad I didn't get it 😀

I don't use GPay/Ace 😂.

I have supreme leader Freechage+ card for utility when no option left.

But I already have plenty of useful option 😉 like 20% RPDC, 10% Airtel CC, 5% Millennia, 5% SBI cashback, etc

Then comes Freechage Plus card with unlimited 5% cashback (minus 1.2% convenience fee).

If you already have a CC that gives >4% for bills you can close ACE...otherwise hold on to it.
