Got a Mail from HDFC for Preferred Banking Account

So i got a mail from HDFC to open Preferred Banking Account with a Link, and it says that the account will get converted to Preferred Banking within a Month. I wanted to know if this holds true even if we do not maintain the AMB?

No they'll downgrade it if you don't maintain it for more than 3 months
