Has anybody here upgraded their HDFC NRE Savings account from Standard to higher levels? Whether account upgrades are offered for NRE accounts?
I didn't get any upgrade offer on my netbanking portal even though I was maintaining a high balance from long time.
So, few days ago, I had requested my RM to upgrade my account to Preferred for which she sent me an email to which I had to reply giving my consent.
But after that, nothing happened. When I ask the RM, she is repeatedly saying that she is not able to send my upgrade application to her manager's approval due to some system error. This has been going on from many days without any new update.
If this goes on for more days, what are my options? I cannot visit my home branch as I am not in India rn.
