Got the hsbc premier credit card

I have gotten the card through 40 lakhs trv ,which for me is a steal considering i don't have any premium card in my pocket most of my credit card spends are either on traveling to foreign countries or electricity bills, goverment payments.in which this card just rewards like crazy ,i feel once you have this card you dont need any other card in your pocket for most use cases hence i have canceled a lot of my other credit cards.

For a lot of people 40 lakhs trv will be pretty high but i am finacial advisor and know how to pick the best stocks, mutual funds etc i am losing 16000 rs every year as commision fees but on the cotrarty i am sure that this 40 lakh will fetch 12 to 15% cagr over the years it is already up 1 lakh for me in about 2 weeks but realistically i would get around 6 lakhs a year on 40 lakhs which is decent i would say.

On top of that i would be getting amazing hsbc customer support which i have already experienced,i also get 6% rewards on almost all spends ,36% on flights and whopping 72% on hotels.i am a big accor user still having 140000 points from 3 lakh points that i got from my magnus 3 years back ,time to get back those points and stay in better properties.

Dude, it's good that you made 1 lakh in two weeks from that 40 lac investment, but don't relate that with HSBC. I mean even if you had that in zerodha, it would have been the same case so the cost you mentioned which is 16000/- is loss only. Indirectly, you are paying 16k for that card, irrespective of how much you make from that investment. If you consider the points from earning on Accor, that is well and good.
