Guidance for credit card

Yeah, go for Axis bank cards - their minimum ITR is 3.6L, confirmed with the agent. Doesn't guarantee approval but still it seems like if you apply via the cobranded route or offline route you are much more likely to get approval. Avoid the online application from axis bank site completely for MyZone or IndianOil LTF offers they run, it has rejected multiple times without even asking for income proof despite good CIBIL. I just got my Axis Airtel card approved on basis of ITR via Airtel Thanks app and offline agent verification.

SBI - I would suggest talking to an agent in a bank branch if your online application via SBI Sprint is rejected. They are much more likely to give anyone a credit card, they have something called Project Shikhar for no income proof cards for SBI savings account customers. The mall agents have to sell a particular variant and don't care to push your application. I got SimplyClick without income proof, the guy just entered profession as student. Because I am self employed and SBI does not give CCs to self employed people under 23 (what a stupid policy). Wanna try to upgrade it to cashback before its devalued somehow.

Kotak - They also give cards freely without income proof. Before the Axis card, Kotak was my latest acquisition. Got League LTF.

AU bank - I have heard from agents that they will approve application if your CIBIL is good without proof. Cannot confirm, in fact one of my applications got rejected but it was at the very start of their credit cards program, things might have changed now.

IndusInd - 5L minimum ITR. Do not bother.

Once you have a card with 1L+ credit limit only then I would suggest applying to HDFC. And build a credit history with Kotak and Axis cards and then apply for APay. You should get a good limit. I got APay with 2.6L limit and no income proof just on basis of good credit history even as self employed.

I made one card against 2k FD and using since 8 months to build CIBIL.

Now my cibil is 763 so which unsecured credit card should I apply for first time.

I applied for ICICI , Axis and SBI before but they called and denied by saying low income although I pay IT of 3.7 Lacs and self employed.

What should I do in this situation?

Can I choose salaried instead of self employed as on salaried monthly income of 21k required which I have as per ITR , I was salaried before 1 year but not now.
So is it okay to do this?

And can I enter my old company name and address if I choose salaried?

Experts please advise
As some people mentioned you could try applying for Axis Flipkart or Icici Amazon pay credit card. They typically are approved without much of a hassle. Although you will receive a very low limit, they are very generous with their LE offers during the shopping festivals provided you are up to date with your payments. If you don't want to take that route, you could open an account with HDFC, Kotak or ICICI and wait for a pre-approved offer.

Finnally got freecharge axis credit card😃
With 15k limit and now I realised it's very useful for me because utility bill and lic policy payment.
Though it's charging 1.15 conv. Fee for all payment so net 3.85% is also good for all utilities.

Hope they don't close or reduce 5% rewards.

It took only 12 hours, they asked me for vkyc and Axis executive only asked me to click of pan card and done no income proof or statment, they must approved based on CIBIL and checking one card history.
Applied yesterday and got today morning virtual card.

So, you applied Freecharge in place of Flipkart? or both?
15K is their default limit, no matter you have any other card. if you try for their LTF card, then it will get rejected but paid one will be approved. They don't want loyal customers, they want paid customers.

Now I'm confused for SBI card.

1
From my pan , I applied for simply save before 4 days and it sent me message of 16k to 20k limit but physical verification id pending

2
And from my father pan , I applied simply click and now at process of income proof

So should I go on for both card?
Or if cancel 1 then which one should I cancel

Or else can I ask them to give me SBI cashback card , will they change the type now?

They will not give cashback card. You have to apply for it separately. Go for simplysave as they are not asking for income proof. Use simplysave for 3 months, you will get pre-approved offers for another card. Most people get either BPCL or SimplyClick offers.

Miracle miracle 😂
Paisbazar gave offer of SBI simply save without income proof and it really worked so we can trust paisbazar offers.

Now can I use gyftr sbi and purchase 2k amzon voucher in first transaction or not?

Because I heard they block card if use to purchase gv from gyftr?

Bro this is SO useful to a beginner 😳
Extremely underrated!

I was about to try IndusInd Delite acc for preapproved Legend CC... ITR 4.5L

How did you get Kotak League LTF? - Direct application or after opening an acc with them or some other method?
Also, you haven't mentioned any RBL co-branded cards?

I have the banner to apply for RBL LazyPay in the app... Should I apply? Is it invite only?

I had tried RBL Zomato in December when I was new and only had a Cibil of 720-730 - Got rejected
Now I have 754 Cibil, 7 months history and 2 CCs (Secured OneCard and Unsecured SBI SimplyClick - 7 months and 2 months old respectively)
Should I apply for LazyPay RBL card?

Was thinking of getting an APay first but not sure between APay and LazyPay...
APay ICICI in the app is showing "No income proof required, Video KYC available - Complete Application"
But, now after reading what you mentioned about APay, I think I'll wait till I have a card with 1L+ Limit before applying

RBL lazypay you should get instantly as it invite only.
And if you had pay later with them in past then approval chances 100%

Didn't have their BNPL product, only been using their basic non-kyc PayLater service with 15 days credit duration (Started at 1500 limit, kept increasing as I kept using, now limit at 10k)
But does RBL also need 6 months gap between applying for their CCs?

I tried Zomato RBL in December and got rejected... Had barely any credit history and CIBIL was just 730 approx, so it was natural haha

Update: RBL has a cooldown period of 3 months

If cibil is 750 plus then you can try if you want otherwise wait some months.
