GYFTR not allowing to use Amex cards (outside rewards multiplier)?

So I am trying to purchage HP PAY voucher using my AMEX MRCC and as always I add the vouchers to cart and move to payment page by selecting credit card option for payment.
Now, the moment I enter my amex mrcc CC number, it shows this card is not acceptable.
I am able to use same card to buy amazon vouchers from gyftr amex rewards multiplier.
anyone else facing this issue?

Now a days no one is accepting amex both online/offline.Its became a mental tension for me to get the 20k milestone.. Feel like its just better to close amex cards

exact same issues. wherever I used to use it earlier (offline), some of those places are rejecting amex now. But 4-6% returns on first 20K is still good, so thought will make use of it for fuel, but running into issues while buying coupons online is too bad

Where are you trying to buy this HP Pay voucher? is this from HP Pay App?? If so, were you able to do the same before??

No, trying from gyftr.com directly. No, haven't done this before for HP Pay

Try to buy from HP Pay App and see how you go..
Add directly money to HP Pay wallet using Amex card and see

Adding money directly from amex to hp pay is working already. But we have to pay 1% surcharge(which we will get in the form of happy coins). Also we won't get any MR points for this transaction. So thought of using vouchers.
Just tried buying hp pay vouchers using amex card from gyftr inside hp pay app, I am able to do it,. thanks. Now let me wait for couple of days to see
1. whether i will get MR points,
2. whether there is any additional charge,
3. whether I will get happy coins and
4. whether there is any surcharge

Good.. HP Pay voucher from HP App is via Gyftr only... So, you tried this right?

You have another option, ..
You can load into Paytm using Amex card and load HP Pay using Paytm wallet.. ( may be extra1 % cost)..

even though , there is extra cost. Paytm will give 1.5 % CB and Hp Pay also give Rs,100 CB everytime you load.. so net effect will be almost neutral.
For paying Amex CC , if you use HDFC Platinum DC then you get 1% back,

I am already using hdfc dc for paying amex cc bills, so yeah, getting 1%.... This is something i am using for longterm.

But On using paytm for loading hp pay, paytm charges 2.5% for loading wallet and gives back 1.5% cashback. So we lose 1% here.
Also while loading hp pay wallet through paytm wallet, we will get upto 100 cashback, but there is a charge of 1%+GST for this loading as well. So there is no profit or loss here
So we are losing 1% here.
Instead of this, we can load directly using amex cc and not lose anything, right?

That's 1% as well. But this is straightforward while other route is slightly complex
