Has SBI stopped credit limit transfer among cards?

I was told by sbi cc that limit transfer among cards can not be done anymore. I had transferred all my limit (2L) in cashback card, now simplyclick is left with only 20k.
Post here if anyone has successfully transferred limit from today onwards

I don't think it has stopped. Maybe you or they misunderstood. They might have told you that you can transfer from SimplyClick to Cashback but you need to keep 20k and then no further transfer allowed from SimplyClick.
Actually I heard we need to keep at the minimum 10k in card and rest can be transferred to other cards.

I am aware of 10K min limit criteria. I asked him to transfer 1.50L from cashback to simplyclick, he said they used to transfer limit but policy has changed now. But there is a possibility of confusion on agent's end, let others confirm.

Considering many people transferred limit from existing card to Cashback card and now Cashback card is devalued, it does not make sense much for SBI to stop limit transfers across SBI cards. I found only 2 ways when someone need to transfer limit 1) when closing existing card and transferring its limit to other SBI card 2) you got Cashback card with less limit then transfer existing card limit to this new Cashback card.

that's the reason they failed to transfer amount between cards. Try after 6 months

Can i request to transfer limit from Cashback card[1 and half month old] to Bpcl card [9 months old].
Before they officially disallow limit transfer between cards.

There are no certain rules regarding balance transfer between cards. According to my experience it's totally depends on your card profile and balnace transfer history between.
Call customer care and tell them, if they dennie try again.

Yes. Seems they are not allowing.. limit transfer now .

I tried to transfer limit from Cashback card to Bpcl card. The executive said, now its not getting possible.. and said to try after 2 days.

There's no such restriction, I think. I've transferred credit limit b/w my cards within days, but it was over an year ago. Not sure if they've added reactions after that.

I have transferred from closed card to active card in Jan this year.

You can give closure request for the card. They will transfer the limit after that.

Yeah, I tried today. I was informed of the same thing.

Paraphrasing, "We have stopped this due to internal policy. They will begin again soon. Try again in a few days."

yeah. same reply I got today when I called CC for limit increase and as per him many people were trying to do that and that is why it is stopped now.
