How many of you have closed your Mayura Credit Card? I am going to close tomorrow. Have the aniversary in August but can't take chance as Renewal Fees is steep and benefits are very less. Though I lover the design of card but have to close it because of Renewal Fees.

Did it via call just now.. He first said it is due...I told him another lady told me you can do it before stat. generation...
The guy said I am marking it directly to priority bypassing retention team but cant give assurance will try..I think it will be processed for closure...

I forgot to close the card, and the annual fee has been charged on my Mayura card now 🤦🏽
when were you charged annual fee? i got my card on 15 october 2024, statement due on 22 september, some reward points only can be redeemed after statement.can i close after redeeming?

Guys, my Ashva credit card is up for renewal in 2 weeks, I have an EMI running on it and preclosure fee is around 1500.
Card renewal fee is 2999+ GST = 3540
so if I closed the card, I will be saving only 2000.
Is it worth it to keep the card or just upgrade it to mayura and keep the emi?

Will we get welcome reward points for upgradation from Ashva to mayura ?

Upgrade to Mayura, currently they are running a better welcome reward program (Check it first). That will compensate your joining fee.

Just checked now, they updated their welcome rewards.

If I redeem it for hotel and flights only then the points will be valued at 0.5 paise right? Or if I redeem through gift vouchers then 12k points will be valued of 3k rs right?
So out of 6k + GST 1k, I will be getting back only 3k rs and around 4K will be loss?

So if I close the EMI and close the card, 1.5k will be my loss.
If I continue the emi and don’t close the card, 3.6k will be my loss.

If I upgrade to mayura, then around 4K will be my loss right? Or am I missing something?

Just close the bl**dy card if you are going tosave something...
No need of Ashava or Mayura.. waste of space in one's portfolio...

all the best

Dont run after shitty portal Tripstacc ..they are priced higher and then the convenience fee trap..900 for intl ticket one way per person....way too much of hassle..
yes i booked and came to know hidden things, when you apply coupon you cant redeem points, when you redeem points and pay remaining you dont get 30x rewards, what a timewaste portal. anyways i closed this and i am going to take wealth credit card for bank offers
