HDFC application rejected again

Worst experience with this bank till now 😒.

In june there was LTF offer on millennia card for Corporate employees. I applied and got the card. to ensure its LTF, send mail to Customer care and they said it's paid card. so instantly closed the card.

In Diwali again there was festival treat offer from HDFC and credit card was LTF as they said. Got Millennia again. Yesterday I sent mail to customer care to reconfirm and boom, it is again paid card 😏

Yes after closing two cards, branch said apply for c2c and applied they said it will be approved.

Got mail yesterday. It is rejected 😕

Bhai spend basis pr v ltf hota hai... thoda try karte na close karne se pehle.. and diwali me agar mila tha close kie ho i think 6 month not completed since last application so may be for that reason it got declined.

like many threads i made on this before, hdfc's definition of Ltf is that it will be given to you free for life, as long as you spend x rupees in a year, for the rest of your life.
blatant misselling, if you have screenshot of the ltf offer, please raise this with RBI ombudsman.

Branch representatives said, no need to wait for 6 Month, after 10 days you can apply.

It was sold me as LTF during diwali also, but vo paid nikala n spend basis ka koi kharcha tha hi nahi.

I have their form screenshot, I have raise complaint with HDFC twitter handler post that will raise with RBI.

mailing the level 1 customer support, they always mail you with copypasta saying it's a paid card without checking, always mail the grievance team to check if the card is paid or LTF
