HDFC Bank is going to withdraw their lifetime free Diners Club Black Credit Card's alumni offer effective from 27th October, 2023.

With the launch of metal; the HDFC POC has confirmed that they are discontinuing LTF DCB cards for Alumni for 27th October.

If you are looking for a LTF premium card, this is probably the last week to get it easily.

Eligibility criteria as under for the Diners Institute Program

Final year student to less than 3 years experience post graduation from specified Institute - *Diners Millennia card*

3 to less than 8 years experience or Net Salary post taxes (70K to less than 1.75 lacs) - *Diners Privilege card*

8 Years + Experience or Net Salary > 1.75 lacs - *Diners Black*

Is the eligibility criteria mentioned in the above screenshot same for all institutions that are eligible?

I'm very confused on whether to take this card as the first entry in my credit history. Based on the net salary slab mentioned, I'd only get Diners Privilege, which I don't think is a good card. My spends are low enough (max. 20k p.m.) majority of which is rent.

Currently I'm thinking of applying only if I'm assured to get DCB, pls provide your valuable inputs.

I have recently moved to a new job and my sept salary is >2L but my old (aug) salary is <1.4L. Does anyone know whether they can process the application with only one month salary pay slip?

Apply, they should consider.
If they decline, u can continue to escalate and by then u can get Oct month salary also, do it asap
