Hdfc bill payment using Paytm getting delayed.

Hello all, This morning I made payment of ~2L in 4 parts using the paytm app (paytm wallet) for HDFC diners cards. All four payments are still showing as processing and has not been credited to card yet. The due date is in next 4 days and I am worried tbh.

Did anyone experience same thing with paytm(wallet) and if yes how long did it take to get the payment credited to the card?

I also tried making very small payment of 50-100 rupees using cred app and was settled within 30 minutes. Not sure why paytm is taking so long.

I made a payment yesterday, and yesterday only was my due date but the amount got reflected today in the card ( dated 8 jan) although made payment on 7th, my total remaining payment was approx 18.5k.
I also made a payment on 5th from park plus of same amount!! But that also was not reflecting in the card, so thought of to pay again on 7 th from paytm !! But then this delay occurred 😕
What all charges can i accept to be imposed??
Ps: payment from park plus is still not credited in card😓

Always do the min due from HDFC netbanking if there are issues in 3rd party applications so that there is no effect on credit score, rest you can figure out later.

In your case I suggest you write to credit card department, there is something called transaction date and settlement date, send them screenshots. They generally dont levy any extra charges for the first time. From next time if your are using 3rd party application, do the payments 5 business days before due date to avoid these hassles. They may do 99 payments correctly but the 1 time they have issues, you will have to suffer.

Actually my total bill was of 32500rs and I made a payment of rupees 14000 earlier which was reflected on 1st of January and for remaining 18500, i made the payment on 5th but got this issue , so now what all charges can i expect in this case?😓 And should I contact the customer care now or wait till the next statement gets generated?

Contact customer care don't worry no charges will be levied as it is your first time. Call them and tell your scenario and tell there was a problem on their side. It will get sorted out.

Did your payment from park plus start reflecting now? My payment on the same date is yet to reflect 😑

I got email & notification from Mobikwik that money has been refunded & payment to credit card failed. I tried paying AMEX bill post this & it succeeded. So couple of questions
1. How many days for money to credit back in bank account (used debit card to pay on Mobikwik)
2. Is hdfc cc bill payment succeeding now in Mobikwik or should I wait? (other cc are working fine)

I also paid on Sunday and it's been 5 working days but it's still not refunded. Paytm says they have initiated the refund and in the mail it was written that it will be refunded automatically within 72 hours. But it's still not getting credited. Transaction was done from Paytm wallet only. Customer care saying we can't help. In the app there's only AI chatbot which says refund initiated. And closes the ticket. Somebody please help, what should I do.

What was your refund period.
Mine is saying refunded but not showing in wallet.
