If your income under professional category is over 20 lakhs per annum and you are already filing itr 4, it is mandatory to have a GST number and file returns on monthly or quarterly basis. In that case you need to raise GST invoices to your source of income and pay GST on it.

To get a floater your card must be in higher variant then you can request a lower variant or equal variant on business or cobranded (no core to core will be given)

In your case not possible you are requesting a higher variant card with lower variant cc

Though i meet all the conditions, but i am corporate Salaried person. The dedicated CC guy in the branch flatly refused saying you need to be self employed for this card. Is there a way out.

dont think so, i shared my GST number on the form while applying for this card.

What card you have if infina then take floater form and fill it and give him to process, he wastes your time.

Yes, I have Infinia, so is there any specific action for Floater request, or simply go to nearest branch and ask for new credit card form and fill it and give it to them.
