HDFC Business Debit Card

Getting option to upgrade from millenia DC to Business Debit Card, on eligibility page it says current account holder, but i have only digiyouth savings account, and perks seem to match platinum debit card but fees is less than half of platinum debit card. Anyone else had this and upgraded without having current account?

What's the value of cashback points? In moneyback debit card it's 1 point = ₹0.25

i'm assuming its 1 point = 1 Rs. because tried this calculator https://v.hdfcbank.com/htdocs/commo...d-cashbackcalculator/business_debit_card.html

but funny thing is, as per t&c on official page, it says 1 point per 100 rs. on utility so that 1% return and 5 points per 100 Rs spend on tax so thats 5% return.
The calculator page shows saving of 50 rs.(5%) if i put in 1000 spends on tax, but it only shows saving of 5 rs(0.5% if i put in 1000 spends on utility. I cant find its value chart either.

Hello @tam , Did you get a chance to test Business debit card? It looks like it has more MCC allowed for 1 Cashback point on every Rs. 100 spent on Telecom, Utilities, Groceries & Supermarket, Restaurant & Apparels, Entertainment.

Compared to Platinum debit card, it looks beneficial?

I have applied and I received a message stating the request was unsuccessful. Hope this card only for Current account holders. Only option to move to Millenia now.

This debit card is only for self employed people. In your details with HDFC it should be mentioned self employed then only you will get this DC.

This debit card is only for self employed people. In your details with HDFC it should be mentioned self employed then only you will get this DC.

I am marked as self-employed on HDFC, but it is a savings account and not a current one. Will it work?
