HDFC CC declined first and later requesting for income documents?

Hello,

My HDFC CC application got rejected couple of weeks ago and the staus on website shows as "DECLINE".

But I received an email yesterday from HDFC requesting me to mail them my income documents to further process my CC application. They quoted the same application number which was rejected earlier.

Has anyone experience the same with HDFC? Do you know of anyone whose application was rejected and later the same was processed?

Anyways, I sent an email to HDFC for confirmation.

Deactivated automatically after first transaction, btw i never activated/used moneyback card

Had a similar experience last month. They had rejected first and 2 weeks later asked for my income documents. I was about to send them a week later when i got an email stating congratulations on your approval... (without even sending)

I have also received email from them today asking for income documents after i had requested them to reconsider application. So bro approximately after how many days you received approval msg from the date of email asking to submit documents.

UPDATE:

Sent fin docs to HDFC CC team and now the card is approved.

Was office verification done bro after you submitted income documents and after how many days you got approval msg after you submitted asked documents?

I have also received email from them today asking for income documents after i had requested them to reconsider application. So bro approximately after how many days you received approval msg from the date of email asking to submit documents.

I guess it was around 3-5 working days

Now i have received SMS stating
Your HDFC Bank Credit Card application No.xxx has been processed. Track status after 2 days here hdfcbk.io/a/JAaaBJnA
What does this means??

HDFC CC application status will show decline if HDFC thinks that income documents you provided at the time of application are not enough, but will give second chance to submit income documents.

What does this means??

It means your application is under review. You can check the status after 2 days as mentioned in the SMS by clicking on the link provided.

Had applied for LTF Millennia via agent but Rejected.
Later applied for Tata Neu Infinity FYF from Neu app, approved nxt day with 1.51 lacs limit
HDFC is weird 😂

Previously used to hold Moneyback+ with 40k limit for almost 2 year with no limit increase or upgrade so closed it in July.
